What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Purchase information
We collect the data you provide when you complete a transaction in order to issue invoices, create financial or fiscal reports, as required by the law.
Additionally, we also collect your IP address. We use it to determine your location in order to correctly apply the EU VAT rules. We need to store this information as proof that the VAT was correctly calculated.
When the IP is collected, it is checked with geolocation services to automatically determine your physical location.
If you provide your EU VAT number, we automatically check it against EU VIES database.
We DON’T collect or have access to your credit card or PayPal information.
Contact forms
If you use our contact forms, we will receive the exact data that you provide. No additional information will be tracked about you, or your location.
