How Can We Help?

Facebook Conversion API potential cache issue

Most websites today use a cache solution of some sorts. Usually it’s a WordPress cache plugin, but it can be something at server level, a CDN, Cloudflare, or a combination of multiple caches.

If you have Facebook Conversion API configured, you need to check if your cache is creating a serious problem. Please watch this video to find out more:

  1. Open a page in an incognito window.
  2. Use Pixel Helper Chrome Extension to check the events: open an event and look for its Event ID.
  3. Refresh the page, and check the same event’s Event ID parameter. It must be a different value.

If you experience this problem, try to understand what settings from your cache are the cause of it. You can contact your cache plugin’s support and ask them for a solution.
