Per-Product Settings

The plugin adds two meta boxes to each EDD product’s edit screen. You’ll find them on the Downloads → Edit page.

Google Merchant Feed (sidebar)

A checkbox labelled Exclude from Google Merchant Feed. When checked, the product is skipped entirely during Google Merchant feed generation. The exclusion is recorded in the diagnostics report with the reason code manually_excluded.

This is useful for products you don’t want to advertise — free items, internal bundles, products currently out of development — without having to delete them or change their EDD status.

Product Catalog Feed Ads Images

This meta box lets you upload product-specific images for ad formats, separate from the featured image.

Carousel Ad Image — recommended size 1080×1080. Used in the Carousel Ad Image field in feed mapping.

Single Product Ad Image — recommended size 1200×628. Used in the Single Product Ad Image field in feed mapping.

If these fields are left empty, the feed falls back to whatever source you’ve mapped in the feed’s Field Mapping section. Set them per product when you want a specific creative for a particular product rather than relying on the featured image.
