Overview
EDD Products Feed Pro generates product feeds from your Easy Digital Downloads store and submits them to advertising platforms. You build a feed once, configure how your products are mapped to feed fields, and the plugin keeps the file updated automatically.
What it does
The plugin reads your EDD products — including variable pricing options, categories, tags, and custom meta — and writes a feed file to your server. That file is a URL you submit to an advertising platform so it can import your catalog.
Two feed types are supported:
- Google Merchant Center — the recommended format. Generates a fully compliant XML feed for Google Shopping. Handles digital products, subscriptions (validated against Google’s 12-month policy), variable price options, and shipping blocks for digital goods.
- Legacy — an older XML/CSV format originally built for Facebook Dynamic Product Ads. Kept for backward compatibility. Not recommended for new setups.
How it works
- You create a feed in the plugin admin, choose a platform, and configure settings.
- The plugin queries your EDD products, applies your filters and field mapping, and writes the feed file to
/wp-content/uploads/wpeddpcf-feed/. - The feed URL is displayed in the Manage Feeds screen. You submit this URL to your platform (e.g. Google Merchant Center).
- A daily cron job regenerates the feed automatically. You can also force a manual regeneration at any time.
Who it’s for
Store owners running Easy Digital Downloads who want to advertise their digital products on Google Shopping. The plugin is particularly useful if you sell software, plugins, templates, or other downloadable goods across multiple price tiers or with subscription billing.
