Fake Data & Social Proof

Boost allows you to display “Fake” or simulated notifications to build social proof when real data is scarce.

Enabling Fake Data

  1. In a Boost campaign setup (Step 1), enable Fake Data.
  2. Set the Min Actions Limit.
  3. Select Countries for Fakes (e.g., USA, England, France, Germany).

How It Works

The system automatically generates simulated actions using a library of realistic names and cities associated with the selected countries. If enabled for a specific product boost, it will associate these fake actions with real products from your store.
