Easy Digital Downloads Advanced Marketing Events
These events fire when a customer reaches a value milestone (repeat buyer, VIP, high LTV). They’re great for better audiences, value-based optimization, and smarter retargeting (upsells, renewals, loyalty).
How to use them
- Enable the event(s) you want.
- Set the thresholds (transactions / AOV / LTV).
- Send to your platforms (Meta / GA4 / Google Ads / etc.) or to GTM dataLayer.
- Build audiences (or conversions) based on these event names.

FrequentShopper Event
What it means: fires when a customer has at least X transactions (example: 2).
Best use cases
- Upsell/cross-sell campaigns to repeat buyers
- Loyalty / “buy again” offers
- Lookalike seed from repeat customers
Setting
- “Fire this event when the client has at least X transactions”
VIPClient Event
What it means: fires when a customer has:
- at least X transactions (example: 3) and
- average order at least Y (example: 200)
Best use cases
- Premium bundles / higher-price offers
- “VIP” retargeting with higher budgets
- Higher-quality lookalike audiences
Setting
- “Fire this event when the client has at least X transactions and average order is at least Y”
BigWhale Event
What it means: fires when a customer’s LTV is at least X (example: 500).
Best use cases
- Retention for high-value customers (renewals, upgrades, annual plans)
- Exclude whales from aggressive discount campaigns
- Value-based lookalikes (best seed quality)
Setting
- “Fire this event when the client has LTV at least X”
Where to send these events
For each event you can enable:
- Facebook / Meta (audiences + lookalikes)
- Google Analytics (reporting/segments)
- Google Ads (requires conversion label if you want it as a conversion)
- Pinterest / Bing / TikTok / Reddit
- GTM dataLayer (recommended if GTM is your main setup)
