Captured Data

Last updated: February 12, 2026

The Captured Data screen shows everything Boost has saved so it can display it later as notifications (Boosts). Think of it as the plugin’s “activity log”.

What you can do here

1) Filter what you’re looking at
Use the “All the captured data” dropdown to show only a specific source, for example:

  • WooCommerce Orders
  • EDD Transactions
  • Form submissions
  • Other captured events (depending on what you use)

2) Search actions
Use the search box + Search Actions to quickly find entries by name, location, etc.

3) Review what was captured
Each row is one saved action, with fields like:

  • Captured data type (example: WooCommerce Orders)
  • User name (what Boost will show in the popup, usually shortened)
  • Country / State / Town (location data used in messages)
  • ID (internal identifier)

4) Edit a single entry
Click Edit to adjust the details (useful if you want to fix a name/location or make an entry more “presentable” for social proof).

5) Delete entries you don’t want to show

  • Delete removes that one action so it will no longer appear in notifications.
  • Use it to remove tests, duplicates, or anything you don’t want displayed.

6) Delete everything (reset)
The big Delete all the data button clears the entire captured dataset.
Use this if you:

  • ran a lot of test orders/forms
  • changed your Boost setup and want a clean slate
  • want to reset social proof history

When deleting is useful

  • You tested Boost with fake names/locations and don’t want them showing.
  • You imported/created many actions and want to start fresh.
  • You want to remove a specific action that’s inaccurate or inappropriate.
