How Can We Help?
Global settings
From the main page of the plugin, you can control some key options:
Regenerate active feeds
You can decide to regenerate the feeds on preset intervals:
- never
- every hour
- twice a day
- daily
- once a week
All active feeds will be automatically regenerated. This will help with keeping updated inventory on various networks where the feeds are used.
By default, all feeds will be automatically regenerated, but you have the option to turn each feed OFF. When this happens, the feed will still be available on the original URL, but it won’t regenerate automatically.
Google Taxonomy
On Facebook feeds Google Taxonomy is optional, but it’s mandatory for Google related feeds.
There are a few ways to configure it:
Global Google Taxonomy
Select the appropriate categories from the plugin’s main page. They will be used if no other Google Taxonomy settings are found.
Google Taxonomy for Category
Edit any WooCommerce category and you’ll find an option to select a specific Google category. It will be used when no product level Google Taxonomy is found.
Google Taxonomy for Feeds
Each feed will have its own Google Taxonomy options, in case you need them.
Google Taxonomy for Products
To add more flexibility you’ll have this feature at the product level too. If some of your products belong to a particular category, different from the other products, you can configure it using our custom option.
Google Taxonomy Logic
The plugin will use the taxonomy data in this order:
- product
- category
- feed
- global
So if no information is found on the product level, it will look for it on the category level. If there is nothing there, it will look at the feed settings. If it still can’t find it, it will use the global configuration.
Global Image
You can configure a global image that will be used when no other images are available. However, this is not a desirable situation and you should make sure there are specific images for each product.
