Generate Feeds

In order to generate a new feed click on the “Create new feed” orange button from the plugin’s main page. You will land on the feed’s settings page. From here you can control some key aspects of this particular feed.

Feed’s Name

Use a relevant and short name for your feed.

Feed’s Type

Select the type of your feed.

Select Language

If you use WPML, you’ll be prompted to select the language for this feed.

ID Settings

Chose between the default WordPress ID and the SKU.

IMPORTANT: your pixel/tag implementation must use the same ID logic.

Prices & Tax

Variable products prices: select what variation price to use for the variable price main item. Default is the smaller price.

Include/Exclude Tax: decide how your prices are going to be calculated.

Select tax: select what tax to apply for this feed.

Remove the currency from prices

NOTE: On Google Merchant, you can configure taxes right inside your account. This applies to US taxes only.

Filters

  • Exclude variations for variable products.
  • Show the main item for variable products.
  • Show the main grouped product item.
  • Show the main bundle product item.
  • Select what WooCommerce categories to include in this feed.
  • Select what product types to include in this feed.
  • Stock: filter products by stock.
  • Sale: filter products by sale status.

Smart Settings

Configure how many products will get the “recent-product” tag. Default is 12.

Configure how many products will get the “top-30-days” tag. Default is 12.

These tags are added under the custom_label_0 and can be used to create Product Sets.

Product Title Settings

You can add variations name in the variation title.

You can remove capital letters from product titles.

Product Description Settings

You can configure what to use for description:

  • Short description.
  • Description.
  • Product title.

The description will be filed in this exact order. If a product has the short description, it will be used. If not, the description will be used. If this is also missing, the item title will be used. To skip one of them, uncheck it.

Product Images Settings

The plugin will use images in this order:

  • Custom images – you can select between the Single product ad and Carousel ad images.
  • Your product feature image – this is the default WooCommerce image, the one visible in your store.
  • The category image – the image you can configure on a category level using the plugin’s custom field.
  • The global image – the image you can upload on the plugin’s main page.

If you uncheck one of the options the plugin will skip it.

Include additional_images_link – if this option is ON, all the product gallery images will be used.

Product Condition

The condition will be filed in this order:

  • the product condition configured using the plugin’s custom fields.
  • The Smart OpenGraph plugin condition, when it exists. You can uncheck this option.
  • The condition as defined for this feed.

Brand

The plugin works with a few “brand” plugins. If they are detected and you have brand configured, it will be used.

You can define a global value for the feed to be used when the brand is missing.

GTIN

The plugin will fill GTIN in this order:

  • The value configured on the product level using the dedicated field added by the plugin.
  • The ID, SKU, or the product attribute mapped on feed level.

MPN

The plugin will fill MPN in this order:

  • The value configured on the product level using the dedicated field added by the plugin.
  • The ID, SKU, or the product attribute mapped on feed level.

Google Taxonomy

Google Taxonomy will be added in this order:

  • product taxonomy added via the custom fields.
  • category taxonomy added via the custom fields.
  • the feed taxonomy.
  • global taxonomy added on the plugin’s main page.

Custom Labels

  • custom_label_0 – is used for “smart tags”.
  • custom_label_1 – is used for product tags.
  • custom_label_2 to 4 – can be mapped to any product attribute.
